Okay, maybe not puke, but there are weeks were the last thing I want to do is sit down and plan meals. Nothing sounds good, I don't feel creative, and all I really want to do is dive headfirst into a bowl of queso at our favorite Tex-Mex restaurant.

But that's my emotional brain talking, my logic brain knows that by spending 30 minutes thinking ahead for the week:

  • my body will feel nourished instead of bloated.
  • my bank account will remain on budget.
  • my kids won't be surviving on snack food.
  • my food purchases won't go to waste.
  • ...and I'll actually be able to stick to my health goals.

So instead of pushing "order" on Uber Eats I rely on all the strategies I've created over the years to make meal planning a stress free non-event. The Anti-meal Planning Approach saves my ass just about every week.

Now that I've got the process down pat, it's time to share all my secrets with you!

Sometimes the thought of meal planning makes me want to puke.
