Welcome to Mama Restore, the 6-month, 1-to-1 coaching program where you'll receive a customized nutrition protocol and all the support you need in executing it. As a total energetic overhaul of nutrition, purpose, stress, sleep, movement, and detox, it will leave you finally feeling like the mom you want to be.
You had no idea raising tiny humans could be this tough – why didn’t anyone prepare you for the roller coaster ride of emotions, the stress of going back to work, the mom guilt that takes over each morning as you rush to get everyone out of the door?
Here's the deal: You're not crazy. You don't need to quit everything you once loved. And there is a root cause to why you're feeling this way.
It's called postpartum depletion.
The process of growing a baby, and then nursing that baby, depletes your body nutritionally, which opens the door for the overwhelm, exhaustion, and misery you experience postpartum.
Because, just like you prioritize your children’s needs now, your body prioritized their needs in utero. The crazy part? Postpartum depletion affects us for up to 10 years postpartum.
→ Waking up tired.
→ Forgetting if you left the oven on.
→ Constantly feeling overwhelmed.
→ Experiencing chronic pain and inflammation.
The solution is bringing yourself back into balance, with a holistic approach to your health, one that starts with food.
That's why I created Mama Restore.
Throughout the six months of working together, you'll learn to create awareness around six pillars of wellness so that you can always restore yourself to balance when you're feeling off.
This is a food (and supplements) first approach, because when your body isn't getting what it needs to function well, you don't function well. Throughout the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum time period your body has learned to prioritize the baby’s needs over your own. If you're not thoughtfully trying to replenish yourself, then you are likely depleted.
You have to take care of yourself first before you can take care of others. It’s not just how you are feeling emotionally, it’s also what your body is experiencing. Chronic pain, digestive issues, sleep issues - these can all indicate that your stress bucket is overflowing. Through learning things like time management, boundary setting, and intentional living you can get your stress under control.
Moving your body (joyfully) is crucial to your overall health. It’s not about getting a flat stomach or toned legs (though that might be a nice side effect), it’s about moving joyfully and avoiding the sedentary life that is killing so many of us.
You need to learn to support your body’s natural detoxification system. Learning to support your liver while also detoxing naturally through things like sweating and (ahem) pooping ensures your body is working optimally. You’ll also learn how to limit this load in the first place by considering what you're putting into your environment and your body.
When you became a mother, you experienced a major shift in identity, and now you get the opportunity to decide what you want. Motherhood is not cookie cutter (despite everything we have been taught). You get to decide what it looks like and what you want out of your one beautiful life. You’ll learn how to connect to your purpose and passions and feel like you again.
Every new mom (and even not-so-new mom) is limited in the amount of sleep they get due to their children’s needs. But, let’s be honest, you’re likely not sleeping well even when they aren’t around, which has a direct impact on your energy and stress levels. Mama Restore will teach you how you can get better sleep, regardless of what stage your child is in.

"I decided to work with Amber when my baby was 2-months old and I was gearing up to go back to work as a family physician. I knew the transition from maternity leave to work would be stressful and I wanted to set myself up for success.
I got so much more than a just successful work transition. Amber spent time getting to know me, assess what my body needed, and build a plan that fit into my lifestyle. I never imagined I’d have as much energy as I do given working full-time and having a newborn!
I am grateful for all the support and guidance Amber has given me. It was a huge stress relief having the support as well as accountability. Here is a sample of some of the gains I’ve made since working with Amber:
My fitness level: By 9-months postpartum, I was back to my pre-pregnancy fitness levels.
Hit my breastfeeding goal: I was able to nurse as long as I wanted and felt supported by Amber when my nursing journey finally came to a close.
Mental health: Working with Amber has been huge for my mental health and overall sense of well-being.
Energy levels: Along with my fitness goals my energy is right where I hoped it would be. I’m sleeping (mostly) and able to get through my days without feeling sleepy in the afternoons.
And so much more: Since working with Amber I’ve made improvements to my spiritual life, my relationship with my husband, and my social life.
I can’t thank Amber enough for everything she’s done. I feel blessed to have her in my life."

"When I started working with Amber I was completely overwhelmed by food and what I should be eating to feel good throughout the day. As a mom & new business owner I wanted to focus on my food and create a new relationship where I saw food as fuel and not as just another thing to add to the to-do list.
Amber made this fun & easy!! Amber helped me learn about my body and how to create a holistic approach to taking care of myself that went so far beyond food!! She took the overwhelm out of it by educating me in a way that made sense and felt approachable.
Our time together changed my relationship with food but more importantly my body. She is magic and I can’t wait to continue this journey with her!
Run, don’t walk to connect with Amber if you are looking for a deep transformation and a new level of self-sourcing."

“Amber has a tremendous amount of passion and knowledge for her work. While I’m not a mom, I had been struggling with managing stress and anxiety alongside building a more informed approach to nutrition. I started working with Amber to improve how to think about my health in a more holistic way, and how my mental and physical health are connected.
I’ve experienced benefits I didn’t even know were possible! My digestion has improved, I’ve learned how to better manage my stress, and most importantly I feel as though I’m educated and in control of my health! Amber has been critical in educating me on the importance of hormone health, and I’ve already felt and seen the benefits. Mentally, Amber has helped me build the foundation for cultivating a stronger and healthier mindset, which has been an invaluable skill. I’m so thankful for Amber and the work we’ve done together. It has changed my life in so many ways. ”
A customized nutrition plan designed to support your biggest pain points.
Our first work we do together will be determining what your body needs through a complete nutritional assessment and one included functional lab. We’ll get a holistic view of your health to use as a baseline, and start introducing new food, supplements and strategies to get you feeling amazing.
No single way of eating or lifestyle change works for everyone, the trick is figuring out what works for you. Nutritional therapy is about uncovering the areas in your body that need the most support and building a customized plan that fits within your lifestyle.
Two 45-minute coaching calls per month.
We’ll meet twice a month on Zoom to review how you're progressing with your nutrition plan. We’ll build on your wins and tweak what’s not working. Through our weekly meetings, you’ll learn how to keep yourself in consistent balance and how to maximize your health within each pillar of wellness.
A monthly module containing lessons of one of the six pillars of wellness.
As one of my clients, you’ll have access to my library of modules, each based on one of the six pillars of wellness. Each module has lessons designed to teach you about why that pillar is important, and will give you practical strategies for improving your wellness.
A weekly podcast-style lesson focused on one of the six pillars of wellness.
Since I know you’re always on the go, you’ll also have access to podcast-style learnings for each pillar of wellness. Listen during morning chores or afternoon walks and immediately start implementing what you’ve learned.
Support when you need it most through a private messaging app.
Knowing what to do without having the support to execute is pointless, that’s why you can message me anytime via Voxer (a private messaging app) for help, guidance, support, and celebration. And because I practice what I preach, I’ll only respond during normal business hours.
You didn’t have babies so you could agonize over laundry, experience chronic pain, or lose your sense of self.
You had babies so you can enjoy them, and that is what Mama Restore is all about. Together we'll help you create energy to start enjoying your baby, your relationships, your work, and your life.

After my first child was born, every noise my baby made had my heart and mind racing “Why won’t he stop crying? What if I don’t have enough milk for him? What if there’s something wrong with him? Why won’t he sleep? What am I doing wrong?”
Once I went back to work it only got worse. Not only was I questioning every move I made with my parenting but I began to question my competence at work. I felt constantly panicked, convinced that the only way I’d feel better is if I quit my job entirely, which wasn’t an option. I frequently cried while pumping during the work day, the stress, exhaustion, and frustration over my dwindling milk supply overwhelmed my emotions.
I finally decided enough was enough. I either needed to quit my job or start making myself a priority - I chose the latter. It was a dance of trial and error through all the pillars of the Mama Restore program. I took small steps every day while unapologetically deprioritizing everything else (like work & cleaning my house) and hired professionals to help me where I could.
Slowly I got better. Slowly I found a new rhythm. Slowly I became the mom I am today.
And I realized, my soul’s purpose was not in my corporate job, but it was instead to help new mom’s navigate the experience of becoming a mother (a.k.a matrescence).
I’m a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner not a doctor, which means I don’t treat or diagnose illness. Instead I help you identify the roadblocks and imbalances in your body that are standing in the way of your body’s innate ability to heal. The traditional medical/doctor approach is to treat your symptoms and ignore root causes. You may leave with a pill to help you sleep for example, but little advice or support in finding out why you aren’t sleeping in the first place. Nutritional therapy takes a root cause approach, working to find out the why behind your symptoms in order to bring your body back into a state of balance.
I’m also a health coach, which means our time together is all about support. I won’t print out a piece of paper with canned advice and send you on your way. I’ll be there every step of the way for 6-months, helping you fit recommendations into your life.
This doesn’t mean Nutritional Therapy replaces the role of your doctor. There is a time and a place for medical support and I will refer out when those scenarios arise. Building a healthcare team, i.e. an NTP & Medical doctor both, is oftentimes the best approach.
Traditional diets don’t work for anyone. They keep you in a constant state of hunger, leave you fixated on food, and fill you with guilt and shame any time you “break your diet”. I don’t put my clients on diets, I teach them how to properly fuel themselves so they can have energy, reduce stress, and get to a place where their bodies feel safe enough to let go of extra weight (if there’s any to lose).
This is an addition > restriction approach, where we focus on giving your body what it needs at a slow and steady pace. It’s about making changes that feel good and are sustainable over time. That’s what nutritional therapy and health coaching is all about.
Mom life is busy AF and adding extra “must-dos'' can feel impossible, which is why I designed Mama Restore to be as efficient as possible. In each module you can choose between a 10-15 minute podcast or video style lesson so you can multitask. I’m there to support you every step of the way, if anything feels unattainable we can troubleshoot together.
I also implore you to consider the cost of not investing in yourself. How much time do you spend feeling like crap every day? What could you do if you actually had energy, didn’t feel so anxious, and felt more in control of your life? We make time for what we prioritize, maybe it’s time to ask yourself why you’re not higher on the list.
This is not a group program, yet. I am in the process of building a group program aspect to Mama Restore, but right now I am happily working 1-to-1 and serving my clients in the best way possible. Take note: when I do add a group aspect to the program, the price will not go down. For the best support at the best price, the time to work with me is now.

When we put ourselves (and our healing first), we can finally start showing up as the mother, partner, and person that we want to be. And we can do it joyfully.
But when we continue to sacrifice our well-being for others, we remain physically exhausted, emotionally overwhelmed, and forever miss feeling like ourselves.
