I met Giana when I was a guest on her podcast, and while our conversation was great, what really stood out was how much we had in common. She’s local to the Orlando area and loves Disney World just as much as I do. Plus she is a huge reader ~ especially romantic fantasy. So naturally, we became fast friends. A few months later, Giana reached out because she was ready to take charge of her health and felt like she wanted support that actually felt safe and sustainable. Working together has been so much fun. Watching her shift away from all-or-nothing thinking, build trust with food, and approach her health with more confidence and self-compassion has been incredibly rewarding. I can’t wait to see where Giana is a year from now, because I know this is just the beginning. Her progress isn’t about quick wins, it’s about steady forward movement, and that’s exactly the kind of work that lasts.

“Before I started working with Amber, I was in a really frustrating place with my health. I have two young kids, and even though I was finally out of the early postpartum fog, I still didn’t feel like myself. My energy was low, I was taking naps just to get through the day, my workouts were inconsistent, and I had no idea how to eat in a way that actually made me feel good. The week before my period was especially debilitating.
On top of that, I had a lot of anxiety around doing any kind of “body work” because I grew up in the era of skinny culture, and anything that felt like dieting was really triggering. I didn’t want to fall back into all-or-nothing thinking or yo-yo habits, which is why Amber’s realistic and sustainable approach felt like the right fit for me.
Over the past year, we’ve taken a slow, steady, long-term approach, and it has completely changed not only my health but also my mindset. Amber helped me understand what was actually going on in my body through functional testing, and it turned out I had several things working against me — including borderline anemia and gut issues that were draining my energy and affecting my hormones.
Once we addressed those, my fatigue improved dramatically, my luteal phase became so much more manageable, and I finally felt like I had the capacity to build healthy habits instead of constantly starting over. From there, we shifted into a body recomposition phase where I learned how to eat in a way that supports muscle, hormones, and fat loss without slipping into old patterns.
I’ve lost about 10 pounds, I’m stronger, my energy is better, and for the first time, I know how to get back on track without spiraling. I’m still working toward my goals, but now it feels doable. I understand my body, I know what works for me, and I actually trust myself to keep going.”
