I first met Bona when I was a guest on her podcast: The Happier You. After we recorded, we got to talking about her experience eating a low FODMAP diet and how frustrated she was with her digestive issues. Constant bloating and abdominal pain were impeding her quality of life, from avoiding going out with friends to wearing jeans because the waistband was too painful. The traditional medical system had been unable to give Bona any answers or useful suggestions beyond eating more and more restrictively.
Once she signed on, I was so excited to get her GI-Map results, which uncovered several issues that were driving her bloating. The biggest revelations, however, came from her health history and the series of events that led to her current stomach woes. Combining her lab results with her history gave us a clear path forward. Bona felt relief almost immediately after starting her gut healing protocol. She was able to reintroduce almost all the food she was avoiding prior with little to no issues.
